Cristiano’s Wine Bar and Restaurant has new owners.

Cristiano's Wine Bar and Restaurant is now owned and operated by Bob and Joni Coccagna.   Cristiano's Wine Bar and Restaurant opened in October 2004 at the current location in Winter Springs Town Center and was built on the philosophy of serving fine wine, good food, and laughter in a casual and comfortable atmosphere.  Bob and Joni, both from Italian heritage, clearly understand the connection Italians have to food, wine and friends and plans to continue this philosophy.

This business is a natural fit for Bob who has worked with Cristiano Ricci as a wine and spirit distributor since the grand opening in 2004.  He has 37 years experience in the Wine, Spirit and Beverage industry in both Maryland and Florida.  He worked with on-premise business owners sharing his knowledge of wine, marketing and sales and became one on the top sales persons at his company.  In 2006, he successfully completed his Sommelier and has conducted numerous wine tastings at various establishments in Seminole and Orange County including Cristiano's. 

 

Over the past 4 years, Bob gained firsthand knowledge of the restaurant business by working in various positions at a family owned establishment in the local community.  Over the past year, he has refined his cooking skills by working with the chefs at a local Italian restaurant Bob and Joni have been residents of Winter Springs for over 8 years and are committed to the community's growth and development.

 

They have frequented Cristiano's enjoying the food and making friends with the customers.  Wine and food are integral to the Italian culture and mealtime is an experience to be savored and enjoyed with family and friends and a philosophy on which Cristiano’s replicates and which Bob and Joni desire to continue. 

 

Bob has carefully selected wines from around the world to offer a broader wine selection to Cristiano’s customers. The menu continues to offer great Italian foods made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to order. New appetizers and entrees have been added to the Cristiano’s favorites.
